Instructor, Video Production & Multimedia/Digital Storytelling #499763
The Department of Communication and Media at Lamar University invites applications for an Instructor in Video Production and Multimedia/Digital Storytelling.
The successful candidate would teach a variety of courses within the film and broadcasting tracks with an emphasis on multimedia journalism, video production, and documentary. Courses may include television writing, post-production and editing, electronic field production, and others course relevant to the applicant’s specialty area and departmental needs.
The hire would teach three classes per semester and have a one-course release to work with our student media production units.
Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree with experience in field production and studio production are required. The successful candidate should have an established record of teaching at the undergraduate level, expertise in teaching a variety of communication courses, and a commitment to service learning.
