Five Towns College is a regionally accredited, private institution of higher learning. The College offers various programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. The Film/Video Division prepares students for pursuing a creative career in the film & television industry. The program provides a diverse range of courses from screenwriting to directing, editing, and cinematography.

The Film/Video Division is currently seeking an adjunct professor to teach film post production courses. The applicant should be familiar with Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid software programs. Prior teaching experience is desirable. Candidates should have strong communication skills.

Qualifications for Position:

Minimum of a Master's degree, MFA preferred, in the appropriate field from an accredited institution of higher education. Comparable professional experience considered.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience or teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
  • Proficient with educational technology and learning management systems.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with a diverse community.

Our courses run for 15 weeks and are taught at the College.
